2020 Production has been confirmed

We will be performing Seussical the Musical at the Theatre Royal on 5-8 August 2020

Suffolk Young People’s Theatre

The Suffolk Young People’s Theatre is a three week summer school where young people are challenged to develop a piece of theatre, worthy of public performance at The Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds with 2 weeks rehearsals and one week of performances. This challenge has been successfully met ever since founded in 1979.

This year we will be performing Seussical the Musical. Audition applications are now open

Seussical is a sung-through musical by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, based on the many children’s stories of Dr. Seuss, with most of its plot being based on Horton Hears a Who! while incorporating many other stories

Seussical the Musical includes many much loved songs like:
How Lucky You Are,
Alone in the Universe
& Oh, the Thinks You Can Think!

Also so many great characters such as:
The Cat in the Hat,
Horton the Elephant,
Gertrude McFuzz plus lots more!
