Matt Cavendish (Turner)

Matt was a member of SYPT for many years, making his final appearance as the MC in ‘Cabaret’. He graduated from the three year acting course at Lamda in 2012. Matthew is an associate member of Mischief Theatre. Theatre credits include: Mischief Theatre’s Peter Pan Goes Wrong (UK tour and Apollo), Lights, Camera, Improvise! (Pleasance), Sleeping Beauty (Park Theatre), Naughty Pour Homme (Park Theatre – workshop performance), Boxer, Beetle (Rich Mix), The Boys From Syracuse (Union), Still Life and Red Peppers (Old Red Lion), Romeo and Juliet/ Love’s Labour’s Lost (Grassroots Shakespeare London), The Borrowers (Northern Stage – TMA Award for Best Children’s Show 2013), An Intimate Evening With Ruthie Henshall (3PinProductions) News Revue (Canal Cafe) and “The Play that Goes Wrong” (Duchess theatre). Peter Pan Goes wrong Apollo Theatre. In March 2017 Matt joined the cast of “Play That Goes Wrong” as it opened on Broadway.

 

Charlie Langham (Palmer)

Charlie took several roles with SYPT her last was the lead in “Our House”. Charlie studied at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. During her final year, Elaine Paige auditioned and selected Charlie from a number of leading UK Drama Schools as “The next Rising Star of Musical Theatre”. Charlie subsequently appeared and performed on The Elaine Paige Show, aired on Sky Arts. Before graduation, Charlie landed a leading part in the Charles Miller musical, ‘The Return of the Solder’ at Jermyn Street Theatre, Piccadilly Circus. After graduating, Charlie pursued further training and became a Voice Over Artist, performing an audiobook preview for a self help book aimed at musicians and actors. Charlie is now an established vocal coach and has just launched her first business as Principal of the brand new Pauline Quirke Academy in Richmond. She runs this alongside her acting and voice career.

 

Chris Vince

Chris took lead roles with SYPT in “Little Shop of Horrors” and “Zombie Prom”before joining the actor musician course at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. He is currently continuing his studies.

 

Ella Shipley

Ella has been a loyal member of SYPT for many years taking on a number of leading roles. Her final role was as Evita in our 2016 production. Following the completion of a successful foundation year at the Urdang Academy she has just begun her training at the Musical Theatre Academy in London.

 

Robbie Noonan

Robbie took a leading role in our production of “Little Shop of Horrors”. Following successfully completing his BTEC at Conservatoire East he has just begun his training at the Musical Theatre Academy in London

 

Asha Ray

Asha has taken a number of Lead roles with SYPT, her last of which was Barbara Castle in our 2017 production of ‘Made In Dagenham’. She has just begun studying Theatre and Performance at the University of Surrey

 

Harry Cowper

Harry has performed with us in both “Guys and Dolls” and “Evita”.  He has just begun studying for an MA in touring theatre at the University of Worcester.
